Bike Register / Marking Event : Sat 16 May 14:00

Dear Resident, 

A polite reminder of our Bike Marking event today.

Officers from Hedge End South Neighbourhood Policing Team are holding an outdoor Bike Register session 🚲

Date: 16 May, Saturday

Time: 14:00 – 16:00hrs

Location: Royal Victoria Country Park, near the Chapel, SO31 5GA

Help keep your bike safe and secure, by getting it marked and registered, for FREE! 😊

If the worst does happen, all your bike details will be stored with Bike Register, and this will help us to reunite stolen bikes with their owners. 🚲🚲 

You are 83% more likely to have your bike stolen if it is NOT BikeRegister marked. 

Residents will have the opportunity to:

                - Have their bikes security marked 

                - Receive crime prevention and cycle safety advice

                - Speak with their local PCSOs and raise any concerns 

Please come along with your new or old bikes and get them registered by the local PCSO Mihaela Price and PCSO Wigginton, Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Any children younger than 16 years of age, will need to be with an adult in order to have their bikes registered. 

The event is outside and will depend on the great British weather. We will announce if the event has to be postponed. 

Feel free to give your bike frame a little clean underneath, so that we can clearly see the unique ID serial number of your bike chassis. Thank you 👍

Note: We the Police will not store any information provided at the Bike Marking session, the information will be shared with Bike Register only.

IF THERE IS ANY RAIN ON THE DAY – THIS WILL BE CANCELLED, AS IT’S AN OUTDOOR ONLY EVENT.
